Better than A1 Steak Marinade
1/2 cup | soy sauce | |
1/3 cup | vegetable oil | |
1/4 cup | Worcestershire sauce | |
2 Tbsp | brown sugar, dark | |
2 Tbsp | chives | |
4 cloves | garlic | minced |
1-1/2 tsp | black pepper | ground |
2 tsp | balsamic vinegar |
Combine soy sauce, Worcestershire, and oil in a small bowl. Add garlic, chives, brown sugar, and pepper and whisk thoroughly to dissolve sugar. Set aside 1/4 cup of the marinade for later use, adding balsamic vinegar. Pour remaining marinade into a one gallon ziploc bag. Add meat, squeeze out as much air as you can, and refrigerate for 1-3 hours, turning periodically.
Before grilling, pull meat from bag and let marinade drip off. Discard bag and used marinade. Grill as desired.
