Another incredible day.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 10/25: We are looking at another day just like yesterday with sunny skies and temperatures at 10 plus degrees above normal threatening records across the southwest. We may see some breezy conditions this afternoon as the fronts start to shift but conditions will be beautiful so make plans and get outside.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped with the clear skies to 20 for Crested Butte and 21 for Gunnison. Highs will rebound quickly pushing 65 for CB and 70 for Gunnison. Look for lows to be cold again tonight with all elevations in the low 20’s.

Outlook: A switch to a northwest flow will allow the low pressure trough and cold front to enter our area through Sunday but it’s looking like we will see just the southern end. This will keep the variables to the divide and higher terrain with clouds and a rain snow mix possible while Gunnison will stay mostly sunny. Temperatures will be up to 20 degrees colder by Monday even as the sun comes back so take advantage of this window.

I cannot believe this is the first time I’ve used a pizza wheel to cut a quesadilla. My chef education continues… Tonight’s quesadilla luxuriated in Wisconsin white cheddar mixed with Stella Gorgonzola, topped with honey smoked salmon with cracked pepper, cowgirl style. Divine inspiration!
