Chimayó Cocktail
1.5 oz tequila Prefer a reposado tequila
0.25 oz creme de cassis adds a hint of sweetness
0.5 oz lemon juice
1 oz apple cider Unfiltered spiced cider is required!

Pour all ingredients into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Stir well. Garnish with apple slices.

A favorite cocktail of northern New Mexico area, especially at Rancho de Chimayó, a restaurant started by Arturo Jaramillo.
