2 oz.	gin
1 oz.	lemon juice
1/2 oz.	simple syrup
1/2 oz.	blackberry liqueur	drizzled on top

Combine gin, lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Fill a cocktail glass with crushed ice (don’t serve this up) and strain mixture into glass. Drizzle blackberry liqueur over the top. Garnish with a lemon wheel and two fresh blackberries.

I cannot believe this is the first time I’ve used a pizza wheel to cut a quesadilla. My chef education continues… Tonight’s quesadilla luxuriated in Wisconsin white cheddar mixed with Stella Gorgonzola, topped with honey smoked salmon with cracked pepper, cowgirl style. Divine inspiration!

We’ve added a new feature to cracklyfinger.com – Fantasy sports. You can create a Series composed of one or more races and add competitors. Users (who must sign up and login) make guesses about who will do well in races. After each race you (as Series creator) enter the results and view current standings on the leaderboard.
